Position Summary
The Cost Accounting Manager oversees all cost accounting activities for two manufacturing plants and serves as a key financial business partner to Operations leadership. This role is responsible for standard costing, variance analysis, inventory valuation, and driving cost visibility and margin improvement.
Job Responsibilities
Manage all financial aspects of a manufacturing plant, including budgeting, financial reporting, cost accounting, and internal controls. Participate in month-end and year-end closing for assigned areas. Prepare annual budget and periodic forecasts. Support Operations through partnering and preparation of timely, detailed analytical reports regarding costs, spend, and variances.
