Cost Accountant

Job Description :

Reports to: Chief Accountant. Essential Functions:  • Perform to construct data accumulation systems for a cost accounting system. • Create and review the controls needed for data accumulation and reporting system. • Investigate cycle counting variances and resolves issue. • Validate the cost of goods sold as part of month end close. • Prepare journal entries relating to inventory balances. • Maintain interface internal audit and periodic physical counts of all inventories and facilitate periodic audit review. • Support inventory control to ensure that they are available for production and sale as planned. • Monthly reconciliation of inventory counts between physical inventory and system and make journal entries (if any). • Control company asset. • Report on periodic variances and their causes, focusing in particular on spending variances. • Perform cost accumulation tasks as a member of the target costing group. • Prepare correctly ...
