Summary Corrections professionals who foster a humane and secure environment and ensure public safety by preparing individuals for successful reentry into our communities. Responsibilities Responsible for managing and supervising the delivery of the Introduction to Correctional Techniques program, at the Staff Training Academy, Glynco, Georgia. Coordinates orientation training for new personnel assigned to the Staff Training Academy as instructors. Instructs academic classes in the Introduction to Correctional Techniques program. Ensures “quality control” in programs delivered at the Staff Training Academy by observing and evaluating on-going instruction, and counseling Academy staff and students regarding instructional strengths and weaknesses. Instructs Bureau of Prisons (BOP) employees and other involved in BOP supported training activity, in a wide variety of correctional techniques and procedures.
