Corporate Controller — SME | Reports to Director of Finance

Responsibilities

  • Oversaw all accounting operations for US and Canadian entities, including GL, AP, AR, payroll, and revenue recognition.
  • Led monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes; prepared consolidated financial statements and variance analysis.
  • Managed annual budgets and quarterly forecasts; partnered with business leaders to set financial targets and monitor performance.
  • Maintained internal controls, IFRS compliance, and accounting policies; managed internal and external audits.
  • Supported US and Canadian tax filings, banking relationships, and cash flow management.
  • Implemented process improvements and explored new tools/software to drive efficiency.
  • Collaborated with Revenue Cycle team to minimize revenue leakage and bad debts.
  • Delivered ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as required.
