Overview

Our client is seeking a Corporate Controller to join their growing finance team in Halifax, NS. This position plays a critical role in overseeing the day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining strong internal controls and compliance with regulatory standards. The Controller will report to the Director of Finance and will be instrumental in enhancing financial processes, providing leadership to a small accounting team, and supporting the organization's growth in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

The Controller's responsibilities include managing and overseeing all accounting functions such as the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting.
