Cornerstone AFC Homes Area Director

Position Summary The Area Director is responsible for the overall management, oversight, and operation of 5–7 specialized residential homes serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental health needs, and/or other specialized care requirements. This position ensures the delivery of high-quality, person-centered services while maintaining compliance with all applicable regulatory, licensing, accreditation, and funding requirements. The Area Director provides leadership and support to home managers and direct care staff, oversees resident care and safety, manages staffing and operational concerns, and serves as a liaison between the organization, residents, guardians, Community Mental Health (CMH), licensing representatives, and other stakeholders.
