Core PHP Backend Developer

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Core PHP & WordPress Developer who can build custom WordPress themes from scratch, develop custom plugins, and handle backend development efficiently. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Core PHP, WordPress architecture, and best coding practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop custom WordPress themes from scratch (no page builders)
• Build and maintain custom WordPress plugins
• Write clean, secure, and scalable Core PHP code
• Customize WordPress using hooks, actions, and filters
• Integrate APIs, third-party services, and payment gateways
• Optimize website performance, speed, and security
• Debug, troubleshoot, and fix backend issues
• Work closely with designers and front-end developers
• Ensure compatibility across browsers and devices
• Maintain proper documentation and version control (Git)
