IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL: Read content and correct for errors in spelling, punctuation, and grammar Review edited work and ensure all corrections/comments marked by the author or the Notion Press editor is incorporated Rewrite when needed to make it easier for readers to understand a manuscript Suggest Titles and Subtitles based on an authors request If needed, communicate with authors regarding editing queries via comments in manuscripts, note to authors, calls or emails Work independently and report back to the Editor at Notion Press on specific tasks as assigned to you Ensure all Notion Press manuscripts meet or exceed the Notion Press editorial quality standards Language Edit and/or Quality Check assigned books as per Notion Press quality standards with minimum intervention from your reporting Editor Attention to detail and a passion for editorial excellence Troubleshoot and display the ability to deal with fast track/difficult manuscripts Requirements 1-2 years of editing experience ...
