About the Role / Key Accountabilities

• Reporting to the Logistics Branch Manager in our Windsor terminal
• Working independently and with the team to procure reputable carriers to support our customer freight requirements
• Partnering with the Compliance department to qualify new carriers in alignment with organizational standards
• Develop relationships with carriers and support the integration of our technology tools in their services
• Identifying carriers that are competitively priced to continue to build our carrier network
• Prompt submission of rates to customers using the comprehensive toolkit of resources available
• Ensure prompt customer service to rectify and mitigate any issues in a professional manner
• Working as an integral part of the logistics team to negotiate, communicate and liaise with carriers, customers and representatives, as necessary
