Coordinator, Health and Hygiene

About the role

Reporting to the Lead Occupational Hygienist, the Coordinator, Health and Hygiene is responsible for maintaining and implementing exposure reduction strategies as a part of the Occupational Health and Hygiene program at our Fording River Operations.

In this role you will:

• Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies
• Conduct workplace hazard assessments to identify potential health risks related to chemical, physical, biological and ergonomic hazards
• Conduct worker and workplace occupational hygiene sampling and maintain inventory of hygiene sampling equipment and supplies
• Manage day-to-day aspects of occupational hygiene programs including respiratory fit testing, gas monitoring station maintenance, audiometric testing, ergonomic risk assessments
