JOB SUMMARY UNDER THE DIRECT SUPERVISION OF THE DIRECTOR OF FINANCE, THE PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF THIS POSITION IS TO PROVIDE OVERALL MANAGEMENT OF ALL ACTIVITIES RELATED TO FINANCIAL SERVICES WHICH INCLUDE BANKING AND INVESTMENTS, PREPARATION OF BUDGETS AND FINANCIAL STATEMENTS, BUDGET CONTROL, ACCOUNTING AND FINANCIAL ANALYSIS.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and supervise the finance team
  • Responsible for the year-end closing of the financial system.
  • Coordinate external audit, produce and provide required documentation.
  • Prepare and submit the annual financial statements to the MES (Ministère de l’Enseignement supérieur) by the prescribed deadline.
  • Prepare internal financial statement and documentation for the presentation of annual financial statements to the Audit Committee as well as to the Board of Governors.
