Hourly Rate of Pay: $23.61-$28.34

Location: 5236 59 Avenue, Barrhead, AB

Under the direct supervision of the Program Manager, the Cook I performs a full range of cooking duties requiring sound judgment and independence involving the safe and efficient use of quantity and quality control techniques.

The Cook I follows established procedures and standards, including standardized recipes, production sheets, and master menus. The Cook I maintains a high standard of sanitation in preparing and handling food, coordinates meal production, provides service to customers, communicates information, receives, distributes, and stores goods, and performs other related duties as required and assigned.

Consider applying if you can read, write, and speak English effectively, have experience in institutional cooking, completed Grade 12 or equivalent, and are Food Safe 1 & 2 certified.
