The Convention Services Manager (CSM) coordinates meetings, conventions, and special events within a hotel or venue. They act as the primary liaison between clients and internal departments (e.g., catering, banquets, and audiovisual), managing logistics like room blocks, event layouts, and billing to ensure flawless execution and high guest satisfaction.
Experience: Typically requires 1-3 years of experience in hospitality, catering sales, or event management.Education: A Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, or a related field is heavily preferred.Software Skills: Proficiency with industry-specific property management and event tools like Delphi, as well as Microsoft Office.Soft Skills: Exceptional negotiation, organization, and multitasking skills.
