Join a leading manufacturer of commercial shelving and rack units as a Controls Engineering Specialist. You will play a crucial role in overseeing the new automation processes for a cutting-edge shelving line. With our recent expansion, you'll be at the forefront of integrating state-of-the-art automated equipment in our facility.
Responsibilities
+ Modify and program new equipment, troubleshoot, and debug Fanuc robotic welding equipment.
+ Spend 80% of your time on the manufacturing floor, working hands-on with HMI's, PLC's, and robotics.
+ Dedicate 20% of your time to office support, including ordering parts, handling funding requests, performing clerical duties, and creating basic drawings.
+ Develop, modify, and optimize Fanuc robot programs for welding.
+ Perform robot teaching, touch-ups, and recovery in both active production and pre-commissioning environments.
