The Controls Engineer designs, develops, and supports electrical control systems from concept through startup for highly automated manufacturing equipment and tools. This role focuses on creating and implementing robust control solutions, supporting plant operations, and contributing to new and existing automation projects across multiple facilities.
Responsibilities
+ Design electrical control systems for new equipment and upgrades from initial concept through completion.
+ Develop detailed electrical budgets for new equipment designs and system upgrades.
+ Interact with vendors to stay current on available products and technologies and to coordinate project-specific components and solutions.
+ Design, develop, troubleshoot, and coordinate all aspects of electrical control systems for equipment, machinery, and special application tools and fixtures.
