Controls Engineer

This company design and manufactures automated machinery and robotic solutions for a range of manufacturing sectors.

PLC programming experience is required.

The Role

  • Write the software for the Omron PLC, HMI, program the Fanuc robots
  • Develop the control systems from the concept stage through to the final detailed stage
  • Working with project leader in planning, organising and managing meetings with the customer
  • Specifying and purchasing components
  • Assist with the preparation and compiling of manuals

    • 37.5 hours per week, early finish Fridays

    Requirements

  • Proven ability to write PLC software
  • Robot programming experience
  • Suitably qualified engineer

  • £45K – £60K
  • 25 days holiday, pension
