Role Overview

veritree is hiring a Controller to fully own the company's accounting and financial reporting operations and act as the CFO's primary operational right hand. This role is responsible for the accuracy, integrity, and scalability of all accounting activities across veritree's commercial entities and its registered foundations in Canada and the United States.

The Controller will run day‑to‑day finance execution including month‑end and year‑end close, tax compliance, and accounting systems, while supporting the CFO with strategic decision making. This is a hands‑on, execution‑first role in a fast‑paced, scaling climate‑tech and SaaS‑enabled organization. Success in this role is defined by operational excellence, judgment, and reliability.
