Our client is looking for a strong Assistant Controller/Controller to support their business on a 13 month contract to help oversee the day to day accounting and drive improvement and efficiencies in the business operations.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting for a single entity, including close, reconciliations, accruals, and general ledger activity.
• Prepare single entity financial statements under IFRS reporting standards.
• Oversee cash flow, expenses, AR, and AP functions.
• Support manufacturing accounting, with particular focus on inventory and inventory-related reporting.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting packages.
• Complete quarterly financial statement reporting using an established template.
• Perform variance analysis and provide strategic financial insight to support leadership decision-making.
