Controller

About The Role

We are looking for a Controller to support in developing a best‑in‑class accounting function in a rapidly growing organization. The Controller will be an integral part of the finance team, taking ownership of all operational and compliance aspects of accounting at Electric Mind in both our US and Canadian offices. As the Controller you will help to build the department and create the systems and processes the company needs to succeed.

Qualifications

• CPA designation
• 7+ years of finance and accounting experience, with at least one outside a professional services firm
• US financial compliance and reporting experience is required
• Drive to optimize processes through AI and automation
• Experience leading an audit and overseeing compliance reporting (tax, payroll)
