We are looking for an experienced Controller to lead critical financial operations and ensure compliance during a Chapter 11 wind-down process. This short-term contract position is based in Maynard, Massachusetts, and requires expertise in managing complex accounting tasks and providing strategic financial guidance. The ideal candidate will play a key role in overseeing cash management, asset sales, and financial reporting.
Responsibilities:
• Direct all financial and accounting activities necessary for completing the organization's wind-down and fulfilling Chapter 11 obligations.
• Manage cash flow, including payment releases, monitoring liquidity, and maintaining strong banking relationships.
• Assume responsibilities previously handled by the outgoing Controller to ensure smooth operational continuity.
• Support asset sales by preparing accurate financial reports, reconciliations, and necessary documentation.
