Controller

Unity has engaged with a privately held, Houston-based, HSE Construction client to assist in its search for a Controller. This position will lead the day-to-day financial operations and be responsible for organizing, maintaining, and directing all accounting activities which include financial reporting & analysis, cost accounting, financial records, inventory accounting, AP, AR and payroll. This is a hands on position and sits on-site at their headquarter office located in east Houston.

Key Responsibilities

Manages professional level accounting functions and the preparation of reports including profitability, working capital, and balance sheet accounting. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements.

Develops and maintains a system of financial controls and reporting for the entire project accounting process to include monitoring and reporting of the project budget and job costing.
