The Role
As a Control Tester, you will play a vital role within our Group Risk Operational Risk Assurance team. Acting as a key Second Line of Defence (2LOD), you will deliver independent assurance over the Group’s risk management framework and control environment to ensure our operations remain safe, compliant, and effective.
Please note: This is an Operational Risk role, not a Software/IT Testing position.
What you will deliver
Reporting to the Senior Manager Assurance, you will move beyond box-ticking to assess the true effectiveness of our controls. Your core responsibilities include:
- Control Testing: Execute risk-based testing to evaluate the Design Effectiveness (DE) and Operating Effectiveness (OE) of key controls.
- Assurance Reviews: Conduct thematic reviews to identify gaps and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulations (APRA & ASIC).
