Control Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• take ownership of system-level control design (design, simulation, V&V, …)
• collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, experts, and customers
• design, implement, and maintain model-based plant/system models and Model-in-the-Loop (MiL) simulation environments
• perform evidence-based trade-off analyses
• support application engineers during commissioning activities
• define system-level control specifications, including failure mode analysis, safety and cybersecurity considerations
• analyze, evaluate and document the dynamic behavior of engine control system elements
• design, develop and maintain engine control system architectures (hardware, software and services)
• coordinate with project management and software/hardware development teams
