Control Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain PLC and SCADA software
• Develop, test, and implement new software to fulfill the functional specification
• Continuous development of product software capabilities and functions to maintain our market position in leading customer requirements
• Version control and collaborative development
• Create and maintain clear technical documentation, including design documents, test reports, and user manuals
• Adherence to all SMD QA processes

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a degree in the relevant subject or with strong experience in software programming including scripting (if/case statements) with competency in PLC, SCADA, or application software design.

Experience in machine control/automation and communication networks (ethernet, RS232, RS485) is required.

Full training on our products will be provided within the role.
