TITLE: Control Board (CB) Design Release Engineer (DRE)

DUTIES: Responsible for STLA’s control board product development and verification for electric vehicle platforms which may include mHEV, HEV, PHEV and BEV. Manage a global team of DREs responsible to deliver Power Inverter Module Control and Gate Driver Boards in support of STLA 2030 Dare Forward Strategy. Hire and train new engineers in STLA CB/GDB schematic and development processes. Support local CB/GDB testing and debug activities as needed. Work with technical subject matter experts to develop cost effective and reliable control boards using cutting edge technologies, simulation tools, and test and evaluation equipment. Oversee Power Inverter Module (PIM) Control Board sourcing activities, including development of source packages, conducting supplier technical review meetings, and providing engineering assessment of each supplier’s proposal.
