Control and Instrumentation Engineer

Position Overview

Cabot Carbon Ltd is looking for a Control and Instrumentation Engineer to join the Engineering team based in Barry, South Wales.

The Control and Instrumentation Engineer will act as the site subject matter expert and owner for all onsite OT and IT systems, ensuring procedural, legal and regulatory compliance, and maintaining safety and optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote safety as the number one priority, providing leadership to encourage a safety first environment at all times, and taking actions that demonstrate continuous improvement in health, safety including process safety and the environment, ensuring compliance with UK legislative and site SH&E requirements.
• Support Root‑Cause‑Analysis (RCA) activities into plant performance deviations using industry best‑practice tools, leading and supporting teams throughout the entire process.
