Contracts/Shipping Engineer - Temporary Role (12 Months)

The Contracts Engineer (Shipping) will prepare shipments for dispatch swiftly by the most economical means possible, taking into consideration the specific requirements of the customer and the Country.

This role provides the opportunity to interact closely with all relevant departments within Rotork to co-ordinate all relevant information as well as customers and agents to fine-tune the shipping procedure. This is being to ensure that the customer is kept updated on order developments at all times whilst managing any issues in a proactive manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of dispatch shipments and ensuring that all parties are kept fully informed of shipment status.
• Liaise with external agencies on behalf of Rotork such as HM Customs, Shipping Lines, International Banks, etc.
