Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review contracts related to the physical movement of oil and gas, ensuring all terms accurately reflect the underlying trades.Verify that all contracts are aligned with internal systems to avoid P&L discrepancies and enable correct issuance of financial and documentary instruments.Manage and process contract amendments, including commercial, operational, payment, laytime/demurrage, and legal clauses. 2–3 years’ experience in contract management within commodity trading, ideally in the oil and gas sector.Practical knowledge of contracts involving the physical movement of oil and gas, including laytime and demurrage concepts.Solid understanding of key legal provisions in physical delivery contracts—such as force majeure, limitation of liability, assignability, default and liquidation, and waivers.
