REQUIREMENTS

• Self-identify with one of the four equity‑deserving groups under the federal Employment Equity Act or under the provincial Ontario Human Rights Code.
• Demonstrate five or more years of permanent contract teaching experience with another board.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide effective instruction, training, and evaluation of pupils’ progress in the subjects assigned.
• Carry out supervisory duties and the instructional program assigned by the principal, supplying required information.
• Co‑operate fully with assigned teachers and principals in all matters related to pupil instruction.
• Be present in the classroom or teaching area at least fifteen minutes before morning classes and five minutes before afternoon classes.
