Continuing Care Dispensary Pharmacist

London Drugs is seeking innovative, geriatric patient‑focused professionals to join our Continuing Care (Nursing Home) team in Lethbridge as a Continuing Care Dispensary Pharmacist.

Responsibilities

• Provide indirect patient care in a team‑oriented work environment with clinical pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, assistants, doctors and nurses.
• Actively engage in therapeutic evaluation of prescriptions and monitor patient profiles/electronic charts.
• Support clinical services per the Alberta Pharmacy Services Framework and oversee compounding and unit‑dose packaging activities.
• Participate in disease‑management and compliance programs, and contribute to seminars, workshops and clinics.
• Maintain professionalism and innovative resident care services while optimizing patient care through the use of state‑of‑the‑art technology that relieves pharmacists from routine tasks.
