The role

We're establishing a new capability within Budget Direct's internal newsroom and are seeking a Content Editor - Home to act as an operational anchor, bridging the gap between strategic intent and creative execution. This pivotal role is responsible for elevating the quality, accuracy, and impact of the organisation's narrative across Home Insurance, Contents Insurance, Pet Insurance and Life Insurance products. This is a hybrid player-coach role, producing high-complexity writing suitable for a multimedia content strategy while simultaneously editing the work of others. As a lynchpin in the success of our growing internal content engine, you will translate data-led briefs from the SEO and Large Language Model (LLM) teams into compelling, human-centric content, rigorously applying Brand and Risk frameworks and ensuring technical product accuracy.
