OceanaGold, a mid‑tier gold and copper producer listed on the TSX and NYSE, is seeking a motivated Consultant – Metallurgy to lead our processing team in identifying process improvement opportunities and maximizing processing plant performance. The role involves utilizing metallurgical data to optimize support for mine operations across Geology, Mine Planning, and Engineering disciplines, and leading daily plant operations and technical support.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Ensure the execution of all plant metallurgical functions
• Deliver high‑quality technical studies on process plant performance
• Meet all safety, quality, environmental, regulatory and operational standards requirements
• Develop and perform metallurgical test works programs that identify opportunities for process improvement
• Provide metallurgical data management and complete metallurgical accounting reporting
