Purpose of the Consultancy

The primary objective of this consultancy is to provide technical support(SJ1) to Provincial Headquarter EPI Balochistan in developing comprehensive and user-friendly immunization data pack to support EPI managers and decision makers for evidence-based decision-making. This data pack will also enhance the capacity of EPI managers in data usage and visualization.

Background

The Expanded Program on Immunization (EPI) in Balochistan is in operation since 1978 and provides lifesaving vaccines to children and women. Immunization program in Balochistan faces different challenges in all program components specially related to data and monitoring systems. These include data quality issues, deficient data visualization, limited data utilization for decision-making, and weak capacity in data analysis and reporting. These challenges impede effective planning, resource allocation, and performance monitoring of routine immunization activities.
