Construction Site Safety Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Construction Site Safety Engineer to join our Kouvola project, work location in Kouvola. In this role, you will work closely with the site safety manager and be responsible for ensuring occupational health and safety compliance on construction sites in Kouvola.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Finnish occupational safety legislation
• Develop and maintain site‑specific safety plans
• Conduct safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments
• Review method statements and permits
• Organise safety training
• Investigate accidents
• Monitor safety KPIs
• Maintain safety documentation
• Promote a proactive safety culture

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
