Savonlinna is rapidly transforming its infrastructure through significant investments in streets, bridges, ports, parks and other public works. The city seeks a Construction Site Manager to work as an operational partner to the Infrastructure Manager and lead the practical execution of these projects from planning to construction.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, guide planning and commission investment projects.
• Prepare contracting and consulting procurements and conduct tenders.
• Manage construction sites and represent the city as client’s coordinator.
• Ensure project schedules, costs, quality and safety.
• Act as the safety coordinator for developer‑led investment projects.
• Lead city‑owned construction sites and guide workgroups.
