A Federal Quality Control Manager (QCM) is responsible for developing, implementing, and enforcing the Contractor Quality Control (CQC) program on federal construction projects. The role ensures all work complies with contract documents, USACE standards, federal regulations, and approved submittals. The QCM serves as the primary quality liaison between the contractor and the Government (USACE/NAVFAC/DoD).
Key Responsibilities
+ Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Control Plan (QCP) in accordance with USACE CQM requirements
+ Execute the Three-Phase Control System (Preparatory, Initial, Follow-Up Inspections) for all definable features of work
+ Conduct and document daily QC inspections and submit daily quality control reports
+ Review and manage submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, and test reports for compliance with contract specifications
