Become a pivotal member of Valard Construction as a Construction Project Coordinator for the Wasoqonatl Transmission Line in Amherst, NS. This on-site role involves project planning, scheduling, and communication.
As part of our Major Projects group, you'll report to the Project Manager and coordinate cross-functional teams to drive the successful execution of a large electrical infrastructure project. Your responsibilities include planning, cost tracking, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and manage project schedules and milestones
• Analyze supplier data to optimize procurement strategies
• Monitor safety compliance and quality standards
• Report project financial performance consistently
• Maintain documentation and progress updates for stakeholders
Requirements:
• Post-Secondary education in a related field
• 3 years of construction project coordination experience
• Previous industry experience required
