Duties and Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain domestic, commercial, and industrial plumbing systems and accessories.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, plans, and specifications to determine the design/layout of plumbing systems and water supply networks.
• Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and wall and floor fittings using measuring tools such as levels and plumb bobs.
• Cut and bore holes in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and fittings using hand and power tools.
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, and connect pipes using hand and power tools or machines, such as pipe cutters, benders, and threading machines.
