The Construction Manager provides the onsite leadership, coordination, and direction for construction management activities. Duties include ensuring the project is on budget, schedule, and the design fits the requirements for the contract. May supervise field administrative staff, Field/Project Engineers and/or assistant Construction Managers.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage document control, including RFIs, submittals, construction bulletins, and schedules

  • Read and interpret construction plans and specifications

  • Review cost estimates and potential change orders (PCOs)

  • Inspect roads

  • Prepare daily, and monthly project reports

  • Participate in weekly site meetings
