Become a vital part of Delta's Engineering Operations as a Construction Labourer. This temporary full-time seasonal role focuses on municipal infrastructure, including water and sewer systems.
The City of Delta seeks motivated individuals to support its Construction and Utilities teams. You will engage in activities like maintenance, repair, and construction of vital municipal utilities. Experience in underground utility work is essential, along with a strong commitment to safety and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform sanitary and storm sewer maintenance and construction
• Conduct water system maintenance, including valve and hydrant work
• Execute trench excavation, shoring, and site rehabilitation
• Install and repair pipes as needed
• Assist with general labouring and site cleanup
Requirements:
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s Licence with safe driving history
