Construction Inspector II

Job Overview Under supervision, inspects construction methods and workmanship to ensure that contractors build roadways, bridges, traffic signals and related highway structures in accordance with plans and specifications. Applicants should have experience in construction inspection with an emphasis on transportation projects. The position requires basic familiarity with a broad spectrum of materials, methods, and processes used in the construction of transportation projects. The Construction Inspector II will receive supervision and support from one or more senior field personnel, while beginning to assist and provide support to less experienced inspection staff. The Level II Inspector may be required to perform some supervision over less qualified inspection staff.
