Job Summary
Duties
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for various construction projects, including materials, labor, and overhead costs.
- Utilize software tools such as Buildertrend, on screenTake Off, planswift, Bluebeam and EXCEL for efficient estimating and project management
- Collaborate with project managers to analyze project specifications and requirements.
- Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to secure favorable terms.
- Monitor costs throughout the project lifecycle to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Provide support in the preparation of bids and proposals for potential projects.
- Maintain organized records of estimates, contracts, and correspondence related to projects.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction estimating or a related field is essential. 2-3 yrs Minimum preferred.
- Strong knowledge of construction management practices and principles.
