Overview

GovCIO is currently hiring for a Construction Engineering Technician to provide all labor, supervision, management, tools, materials, equipment, transportation, and other items necessary to provide services at Guantanamo Bay. The ETs will assist the NAVFAC SE Design & Construction Business Line with the enforcement of construction contract provisions, specifically the quality control and safety requirements. 

Responsibilities

The successful candidate shall assist NAVFAC SE with the enforcement of construction contract provisions, specifically the quality control and safety requirements. The ET, through their application of quality assurance (QA) and safety management principles shall recommend approval of work in accordance with contract terms and have the authority to stop any portion of the construction contractor's work that poses an imminent danger to personnel, equipment, or property.
