Construction Accounting Specialist

Nutex Health is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Construction Accounting Specialist to support the financial operations of our commercial healthcare construction projects. This role will assist with job cost tracking, accounts payable and receivable, and financial record maintenance using Workday, Procore and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Handle full-cycle construction accounting, including job costing
• Manage project cost tracking, budget analysis, and variance reporting
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Process accounts payable and support accounts receivable functions (equity contributions)
• Perform and review bank and credit card reconciliations
• Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations
• Monitor project billing, retainage, lien waivers, and subcontractor payments
