Responsibilities
- Stay current with ML/CV research and evaluate applicability to the domain
- Adapt and implement algorithms from research papers
- Own end-to-end computer vision projects for defect detection, thermal anomalies, and vegetation monitoring
- Design and execute experiments with hyperparameter tuning and ablation studies
- Perform structured error analysis and performance breakdown by data slices
- Select and justify model architectures based on latency and accuracy tradeoffs
- Design and implement data pipelines including ingestion and annotation workflows
- Manage experiment tracking and model versioning
