Performs varying Q.C. technical functions throughout the Plant, using good judgment and reasoning skills.
JOB DESCRIPTION (Key Responsibilities)
Provides gauge setting function for the plant by, reviewing prints for limitations and specifications, selects and distributes standards, sets up gauges as required, and verifies or makes new standards ad required, cleans gauges and notifies chief gauge setter of need for major repairs.Performs component dimension, roundness etc., and profile tracings of components. Interprets results.Dealing efficiently with co-workers, suppliers, supervisors, staff department heads, and personnel in other plants in the bearing division.Maintain I, M & TE records for verification and performs calibration of all I, M & TE equipment.
