We are seeking a Component Engineering & Technical Purchasing Expert to lead the technical selection, qualification, and procurement of electronic and mechanical components for our hardware platforms. This role combines component engineering expertise with ability to read and understand electrical schematics and mechanical drawings, ensuring component availability, cost optimization, quality, and long-term supply continuity throughout the product lifecycle.
Key job responsibilities
Component Engineering & Qualification
• Own the technical selection, qualification, and approval of electronic components, including active, passive, electromechanical and mechanical parts
• Define component specifications.
• Lead component risk assessments, obsolescence management, and last-time-buy planning
• Support new product (NPI) activities, while working closely with hardware system to ensure compliance with project requirements and timelines.
