Compliance Supervisor

Reporting to the Manager of Public Works, the Compliance Supervisor is responsible for the administration, coordination, and oversight of regulatory compliance programs associated with the City’s municipal water distribution and wastewater collection systems. The position ensures compliance with all applicable provincial legislation, regulations, approvals, permits, policies, and industry standards, including the Drinking Water Quality Management Standard (DWQMS) and Consolidated Linear Infrastructure (CLI).

The Compliance Supervisor is responsible for monitoring compliance performance, maintaining required documentation and records, coordinating audits and inspections, developing policies and procedures, supporting operational staff, and promoting continuous improvement initiatives to ensure the safe, reliable, and compliant delivery of municipal water and wastewater services.
