Ready to take ownership of compliance in a fast-paced fuel industry environment? A reputable Umbilo-based fuel company is seeking a detail-driven Compliance Manager to lead regulatory adherence and risk management initiatives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Regulatory & Legal Compliance:
Ensure full compliance with fuel-specific legislation and regulations, including:
Petroleum Products Act
Department of Mineral Resources & Energy (DMRE) requirements
Environmental laws (NEMA, air quality, hazardous substances)
Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on operations.
Maintain and renew all licenses, permits, and certificates.
Done at all depots.
Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) & ESG Compliance:
Champion and oversee compliance with:
Fuel storage and handling standards
Spill prevention and remediation procedures
Occupational Health & Safety Act requirements
Ensure proper hazardous material management, including MSDS compliance.
