Key Responsibilities & Skills
1. Core Statutory Compliance Knowledge (Must-Have)
Strong hands-on experience in Indian labour laws and statutory compliance, including:
- PF (Provident Fund) – ECR filing, UAN activation, withdrawals, inspections, and compliance
- ESIC – Registration, contribution, returns, and benefits handling
- PT (Professional Tax) – State-wise compliance and return filing
- Statutory Returns – Preparation and timely submission
- LWF (Labour Welfare Fund) – Applicability, calculations, and filings
- Working knowledge of Bonus, Gratuity, Minimum Wages, and the Shops & Establishment Act
2. Practical Compliance Handling
- Manage end-to-end statutory remittances and return filings.
- Handle statutory notices, inspections, and audits.
- Liaise with government authorities, including EPFO, ESIC, and Labour Departments.
