Key Responsibilities & Skills

1. Core Statutory Compliance Knowledge (Must-Have)

Strong hands-on experience in Indian labour laws and statutory compliance, including:

  • PF (Provident Fund) – ECR filing, UAN activation, withdrawals, inspections, and compliance
  • ESIC – Registration, contribution, returns, and benefits handling
  • PT (Professional Tax) – State-wise compliance and return filing
  • Statutory Returns – Preparation and timely submission
  • LWF (Labour Welfare Fund) – Applicability, calculations, and filings
  • Working knowledge of Bonus, Gratuity, Minimum Wages, and the Shops & Establishment Act

2. Practical Compliance Handling

  • Manage end-to-end statutory remittances and return filings.
  • Handle statutory notices, inspections, and audits.
  • Liaise with government authorities, including EPFO, ESIC, and Labour Departments.
